Peter moans about finals week and grad school apps, but rejoices in finishing his Expedition Pullover by Todd Gocken, and working on his Regatta Socks by Anne Hanson.

Deirdre is enjoying her Featherweight Cardigan by Hannah Fettig, and contemplates actually wearing her completed Cookie A socks.

Deirdre gives updates on Anne Kuo Lukito's new e-book, Liberations and raves about Bloom Design Studio.

All about avoiding icky knitting techniques, KIPing, choosing colors, pattern mods, favorite Thanksgiving foods, and super powers.

Fruit Salad Recipe:
1 can cherry pie filling (20 oz.)
1 can pineapple chunks (20 oz.)
1 cup cherry yogurt (6-8 oz.)
2 bananas, sliced
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and enjoy! (Our family doubles the recipe, but you should be fine as is.)

Peter enjoys sunny and snowless (for now) Wisconsin (54 F / 12 C) while Deirdre is happy to see a cloudy day for once in San Diego (65 F / 12 C).

What's Up?
Peter inches closer to finishing his Expedition Pullover by Todd Gocken and is pretty sure he's knitting blue Regatta Socks by Anne Hanson with MacKintosh Yarns sock yarn.

Deirdre toiled through blisters and burning hands to finish up a pair of Bamboo Socks (by Lorraine Ehrlinger out of Trekking XXL) for the show announcer and turns her attention to an Ethereal Fichu (by Jackie Erickson-Schweitzer in Buffboo lace weight) for Buffalo Gold.

I Want That
Deirdre likes the unique patterns from Anne Kuo Lukito from Crafty Diversions.

Peter itches for some colorwork after seeing the Min Ulla set by Elinor Brown (and then realizes he already has her Vespergyle Mittens on the needles).

The pair discuss their favorite things to knit, what finishing techniques they try to avoid, favorite movies, most used handknits, preferred stash organization techniques, and pick a favorite month.
