Hashing it Out
Huge thank yous to everyone for all the comments!

This is the extent of our baby/kid knitting knowledge: Ysolda's toys, Alana on Never Not Knitting, Susan B. Anderson's Itty Bitty Toys, Debbie Bliss patterns.

The pair finally reveals the number of siblings they share.

What's Up?

Deirdre is enjoying her Featherweight Cardigan by Hannah Fettig, and contemplates actually wearing her completed Cookie A socks.

I Want That
Peter goes arctic for the Polar Chullo by Mary Ann Stephens out of the latest Twist Collective.

Deirdre gives updates on Anne Kuo Lukito's new e-book, Liberations and raves about Bloom Design Studio.

The Hot Seat
All about avoiding icky knitting techniques, KIPing, choosing colors, pattern mods, favorite Thanksgiving foods, and super powers.

Fruit Salad Recipe:
1 can cherry pie filling (20 oz.)
1 can pineapple chunks (20 oz.)
1 cup cherry yogurt (6-8 oz.)
2 bananas, sliced
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and enjoy! (Our family doubles the recipe, but you should be fine as is.)

And...
An audio gift from Peter!

  1. Ha ha. I also always thought of you when the stepsister in Disney's Cinderella tries on the glass slipper.

  2. I found the introduction to Captain Planet on YouTube, but it won't let me paste the link here, so I'll e-mail it to one of you and you can post it if you want. ;)

  3. I love the shows! I somehow missed the updates for the last few shows, so I listened to them all together last night. They are AWESOME (and it is not just because you mentioned me in every one:-)

  4. Your podcast was great... the postitive ape factor story made my day. There's nothing like being able to finally make sweater sleeves as long as you want!

  7. Thanks for another great show, guys! I just wanted to say specifically that I was really thrilled to finally hear Peter play clarinet, as I've been curious about it since the beginning (I started listening about a month ago, I guess, and I started on episode 1). I was a clarinet player myself many, many moons ago ... he's obviously much better than I ever was, so - hats off to you Peter! ;-)

Looking forward to all the rest of the episodes I have to listen to, and to hearing more from you later on!

Oh, and Peter, I stotally sympathize with the situation I now hear you describing in Episode 5. We've been snowed under here in Hamburg, Germany, for over a month now. I swear, we have glaciers forming on our sidewalks!

So, greetings from a frozen Deutschland,

    -tryste.
